Just a little update with some info if you are not familiar with this spot. One small caveat, I havnt been down in a few years, but I dont think anything has really changed there.
This is a free, grass roots event (more of a get together).
Free parking at the launch. LCBO outlet in a variety store very close, and a restaurant/bar within a 1 minute walk. Theres a playground for the kids in the park, and it is dog friendly.
Accoms are available right there, but very little advertised on the web. There are two hotels in wallaceburg(10 min drive), also camping near the launch area.
Bring any gear you have for sale, as it has been popular in the past to buy/sell items. We'll try to organize a message board, so you can pin up ads with items and contact info.
Tim (surfculturecanada) is the local guru there. Hes been kiting/teaching since the beginning, and has the local weather forecasting on lockdown. If he says itll be windy, it will be windy.
Thats all I can think of right now,
