Although I know many Candians and Ontario riders have already been out on the water a bunch this year (including days where people were on the water and snow on the same day), April 4th was my first session on the water. The spot: Port Weller, St. Catherines.

April 26 was my first day riding Squamish in 2008. Time and time again I come back to Squamish having travelled far and wide and am always rewarded with familiar faces, flat water and nuking wind. The narrow launch at Squamish (though improved) always leads to a gong show of sorts, but also forces people to get along, and be social. Since I don't really like people, this can be at times trying for me.
