Man is in his early 40 around 5` 8`` stooky with short hair. serial number on the kite is 165725 . the kite is orange red and white. In the weeks leading up to the 2010 Triple S Invitational, LF Kiteboarding and REAL Watersports teamed up to create a set of sliders built entirely of reused materials. Dubbed the Liquid Force Recycled Wallride and Kicker, this short segment covers the concept, building and first session with these unique park style features.

Ned Taylor, recently made the move to North Kiteboarding and shows his skill on the 2010 gear in Australia.  Ned was 3rd overall in the 2009 BKSA and you can follow his progress here 

Looks like Sam Medysky is getting all geared up to ride this year's Triple S competition now that he's no longer a wildcard and got the official invite.  There's sure to be a lot of solid competition and uber steeze, so stay tuned for more updates on the comp.

Watch Jon Van Malsen charge hard in Brazil from Caulpe Lagoon to Taiba Lagoon.  I had the chance to see some of the footage first hand as it was being filmed and he was absolutely killing it coming straight off an injury (which you can see some of the stitches in the video).

In Youri's third episode for RECORDED, kite action is seen on the Tabuba lagoon near Cumbuco, Brasil.  This is a pretty busy lagoon with some top level riding, so watch Youri kite his face off with loads of power and style. 

I was lucky enough to catch Jeremie throw down in Cumbuco while in Brazil this past fall and it was awesome to watch.  Here's his latest travel video showcasing some of his time in Brazil with Linn Svendsen, Tom Court and Susi Mai.

Three of us rode at SBX Outlet beach on Saturday. Breezy rather than gusty, 20+ knots with the occasional lull down to 13-10 knots. Sun was out when we arrived at 1pm but then disappeared for the remainder of the day. Surf was normal for SBX Outlet with some 7ft swell out farther where you would normally find it. Great wind direction for right foot fwd launches off the waves. It was also fun riding southbound and northbound closer to shore where you could really let her rip, again, typical for SBX Outlet. We really had to wonder where everyone else was; to us it was an epic day!

If you haven't heard brushed up on your Norse mythology recently, Ragnarok is the final battle between good and evil gods where only the strongest survive.  The Redbull Ragnarok is the exact same thing, except for the fact that there is no end of the world that results from the finish.  Also, this is more snowkite centric.  200 riders from across the world will race induro styles for 3 hours!  6 rounds of about 30 minutes that cover up to 20 kilometers.  Those that make it to the end get to keep their lives win the race.

A little more than 4 weeks after cracking my sternum, it doesn't hurt to kite any more!  Yay! 

Two weeks ago I was invited by some local sponsered pro riders and some pro-level kiters to go with them to La Boca, here in Cabarete.  It is a well known flat water area with two lagoons where a large river meets the ocean, just to the east of Cabarete.  It's pretty tricky to find on your own, so I recommend having a local take you.  There are two lagoons, one is really shallow in some places until the tide comes in and the other lagoon has trees and shrubs around it and the Red Bull slider.  The slider lagoon is a little more difficult as the bushes make a wind shadow that makes relaunching off the water difficult, and the tree's can make a mess of your kite if you crash it. 

 The flat water feels great and makes learning new movies easier.  You also don't have to body drag to get your board if you crash, as you can just walk to it and pick it up.

So this is a cut from riding in the DR at the beginning of 2010. Having built a rail at a local flat water spot, i spent a few weeks just chilling and riding it with Aaron, Dre and Susi. This is some of the footage of me that Susi filmed from the trip. Thanks to Red Bull for making the rail project happen!
